On the eve of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), the world’s largest celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship, we are thrilled to welcome the newest member of the .CO family: GEW.co.
We feel very lucky to have been able to work with our friends at Global Entrepreneurship Week to find a new online home at GEW.co – an upgrade from unleashingideas.org. A full 13 characters shorter, GEW.co will be the go-to place for all news, activities, and events supporting entrepreneurship around the world. Join us in welcoming GEW.co to the .COmmunity!
During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.
Just last year, 7.5 million people around the world joined in activities designed to help them unleash ideas while strengthening the ecosystems that support entrepreneurs. Now in its sixth year, GEW has expanded to more than 135 countries—empowering millions through 115,000 activities over that time. Powered by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a global network of nearly 10,000 partner organization.
GEW is more than just an awareness campaign. It is a platform for connection and collaboration—engaging all players along the entrepreneurship spectrum in strengthening ecosystems around the world. We hope this inspires you to take part in a GEW event near you!
