This week, NightPro.co will hit the Las Vegas stage at Tech Cocktail Celebrate and go head to head against 23 other startups vying for first place in a nation-wide pitch competition. We’ll admit, we’ve been anticipating this event for a while now and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the amazing guys at NightPro have in store.
Just last month, Tech Cocktail made two major announcements to the local community at their Miami Mixer and Startup Showcase. First, Tech Cocktail unveiled its plans to open its newest “hub” right here in Miami. The organization also announced its $150,000 grant from the Knight Foundation, marking the start of Tech Cocktail’s partnership with the Foundation. We’re thrilled to welcome one of our long time partners to the South Florida tech scene.
Following these exciting announcements at the mixer, a 60 second pitch contest was held, during which NightPro rocked it on stage. NightPro is a one-stop solution for nightlife venues that focuses on everything from table management, to guest lists, to client history. The crowd agreed with us, voting NightPro as their “favorite startup” – ultimately sending them to Vegas for #TCCelebrate.
The first time we met NightPro founders, Juan Bermudez and Francisco Quintero was at Lean Startup Machine where they pitched their idea to innovate the way nightlife venues conduct business.
Today, NightPro is a company in the Venture Hive Accelerator located in the heart of Downtown Miami. VentureHive.co is another one of our amazing partners pushing the Miami tech scene to new heights. Their innovative accelerator is now being replicated in over 5 countries around the world. Needless to say, Venture Hive is doing big things with incredible startups.
This week, we are here in Las Vegas at Tech Cocktail Celebrate and having a blast! Celebrate is Tech Cocktail’s National Startup Competition and conference in Downtown Las Vegas. The event focuses on celebrating various startups and their ecosystems as well as showcasing the startups that have made it to the finals. The event attracts has blockbuster lineup speakers including, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, Matt Mullenweg, Co-Founder of WordPress, and our very own CEO, Juan Diego Calle.
It’s amazing to see the .CO community build on each other’s success. We are wishing all the startups good luck in the Tech Cocktail pitch contest, but you can bet, we will be cheering just a little louder when .CO-ers hit the stage!
